Aviation Security Training Courses

    
 

These courses are available, each one tailored to the specific job function, and taught
To ICAO, IATA and the UK Department for Transport (DfT) standards:

Level 1: for Ground Staff carrying out security functions
Level 2: for those supervising the security functions
Level 3: for those managing the security functions
Level 4: Aviation - Aircrew Security training
Level 4: Cargo – For those transporting cargo

Aviation Level 1 -

This course includes training in the recognition of threat items that are likely to be placed in Passenger Baggage, procedures to follow in the event of discovery, techniques for screening and searching….in fact everything required to enable staff to be part of the “front line” in the protection of airports and airlines!

Aviation Level 2 –

This course concentrates on the need for supervision of security staff, and the testing of security equipment, management liaison.

Aviation Level 3 –

This course , in addition to considering all the elements of levels one and two, will enable a manager responsible for running an airport/airline, to plan/audit the security regime to be implemented, consider the physical aspects of access control systems, and design a security plan for the airport/airline.

Aviation Level 4 –

This course is for Flight and Cabin crew, to advise on their role in hijack, discovery of an explosive device on board, bomb threats received, and elements relevant for other contingencies, searching. This course has been trained to British Airways flight and cabin crew as part of their Safety and Emergency Procedure Training.

Cargo and Mail Level 1 –

This course includes training in the recognition of threat items that are likely to be placed in consignments of cargo, procedures to follow in the event of discovery, techniques for screening and searching….in fact everything required to enable staff to be part of the “front line” in the protection of air cargo!

Cargo and Mail Level 2 –

This course includes all the elements of level one, plus the skills required to supervise staff, and decide the measures to be applied to consignments of air cargo .

Cargo and Mail Level 3 –

This course, in addition to all the elements of levels one and two, will enable a manager responsible for running an air cargo facility to plan the security regime to be implemented, consider the physical aspects of access control systems, and design a security plan for the facility.

Cargo and Mail Level 4 –

This course is for those transporting cargo, concentrating on the responsibility that comes with handling air cargo at its most vulnerable time – in transit!

Document Checking and Passenger Profiling –

We can train this subject from a security or an immigration point of view depending on local or customer regulations and requirements.


UK DfT Triple A Course.

Hold Baggage Security following DfT Regulations. Course approved by the UK DfT.

This course is aimed at those in a passenger service environment who are responsible for the acceptance of baggage on to flights.

Although this course has been designed in recognition of UK DfT requirements, the principles are sound for world wide use and can be adapted to take account for specific local regulations.

Course Duration 4-6 Hours depending on number of students.

Maximum of 20 Delegates.
