At the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

  1. List their legal responsibilities

  2. Locate information from all sections and appendices of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations

  3. Determine which Dangerous Goods are forbidden for air transport and the quantity limits for those goods, which are eligible for travel on passenger aircraft and cargo aircraft

  4. Locate State and Operator Variations and correctly apply the information accordingly

  5. Classify a consignment of Dangerous Goods and identify the precedence of hazards and the packing groups

  6. Select a Proper Shipping Name from the List of Dangerous Goods

  7. Locate and identify information shown on the Shipper's Declaration and the Air Waybill

  8. Select the correct packing using the Packing Instructions and the General Packing Requirements

  9. Correctly mark and label a package in compliance with Dangerous Goods Regulations

  10. Identify which Dangerous Goods must be segregated and calculate the quantity limits when packing different Dangerous Goods in one package

  11. Complete a Dangerous Goods Acceptance Check List

ICAO certificates are issues to successful candidates.
