Training - Ramp Safety Awareness

A one day safety course for ground handling and passenger support staff

Aims

The course is designed to assist staff who work in the ramp environment full time or any other employees whose duties bring them into contact with ramp operations. It will highlight the dangers involved and the procedures and practices designed for their protection.

Objectives

At the end of the programme the delegates will be able to:

Identify hazards arising from ramp activity
Recognise the risks involved in the work they are carrying out
Follow instructions and procedures put in place for their protection
Report problems to their supervisor
Look out for the safety of colleagues
